What we do with your information

Klik.tw is a small photographer-owned collective in Taiwan. This page says plainly what the site records, why, and how to have it removed. It is short because the site collects very little.

If you ask about a print

The enquiry form is the only place the site asks you for anything. It records your name, your email address, the message you wrote if you wrote one, the size you chose and its price, which photograph it was, and the language you were reading in.

That goes to the photographer who made the photograph, so they can reply to you and arrange the print. It is not shared with anyone else, it is not sold, and it is not used to send you anything you did not ask for. There is no mailing list.

Other members of the collective cannot read it. Not even an administrator: correspondence is visible only to the photographer it was addressed to, which is enforced in the code rather than by policy.

No money passes through this site. You pay the photographer directly, by whatever means the two of you agree, so we never see a card number or a bank detail and could not store one if we wanted to.

What the site records by itself

• A cookie called klik_locale, remembering which of the three languages you chose. Nothing else is in it.
• A cookie called klik_session, only for members who sign in. It holds a random token, not your name or your password.
• A count of how often a form has been used, to stop automated abuse. The address it counts against is stored as a one-way hash and cannot be turned back into your address.

There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising, and no third-party script watching you. The only other server your browser contacts while reading this site is Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces.

The site is hosted by Vercel and its database by Neon, both of which keep ordinary server logs for a short period as any host does. Photographs are stored with Vercel Blob.

How long any of it is kept

A print enquiry is kept while it is useful to the photographer — a record of a sale is worth having years later, for the edition if nothing else. Ask and it will be deleted. Sign-in sessions expire after fourteen days. The abuse counts are swept away after a day.

Asking us to remove something

Write to hello@klik.tw, or directly to the photographer you dealt with, and say what you would like removed. You do not need to give a reason. If you would rather see what is held first, ask for that instead.

If a photograph on this site is of you and you would rather it were not, write and say so. That is a conversation with the photographer, not a legal process.
